A Specialist Setting Built on
Care, Structure and Progress
Blooming Tree grew out of a long-standing commitment to helping children with additional needs build communication, independence and meaningful life skills through structured, individualised support.
Our work began in early intervention and has grown into specialist school settings that continue to reflect the same values: high-quality teaching, consistent support, and a strong partnership with families.
How Blooming Tree Began
Blooming Tree began as a structured behavioural setting focused on early intervention for children with learning difficulties, SEMH, autism and related developmental needs. Over time, the success of this work led to the development of dedicated school settings that could continue supporting children as they grew.
Early intervention foundation
Our origins are rooted in early support, where consistent teaching can make the strongest long-term difference.
Structured programmes
We developed programmes that are individualised, practical and designed to support functional, meaningful learning.
Growth into specialist schools
As children grew older, Blooming Tree expanded into school settings while keeping the same ethos and specialist approach.
An Approach Built Around Real Lives
Our work is not only about school progress. We want children to develop skills that help them communicate, participate, and become more independent in everyday life.
That is why our programmes focus on practical outcomes, emotional wellbeing, social understanding, and support that grows with the child over time.
- Communication and interaction
- Functional independence
- Social and emotional development
- Confidence and self-awareness
- Preparation for home, school and community life
What matters most to us
We want children and families to feel supported by a setting that is thoughtful, structured and genuinely committed to helping each child move forward.
Every child and every family is different
Teaching and support need structure and continuity
Progress should improve real life, not just paperwork
A Multi-Disciplinary Team
Blooming Tree brings together different areas of expertise so children and families can benefit from a more joined-up approach to support and education.
Behaviour Analysts
Programmes are guided by specialist behavioural expertise and structured around measurable progress.
Behavioural Technicians
Children receive consistent, day-to-day support from trained staff working closely with the wider team.
Occupational Therapists
Input supports regulation, independence, sensory needs and functional participation.
Speech & Language Therapists
Support helps children develop communication in ways that are meaningful and accessible to them.
“Inclusion is not just a philosophy. It is part of how we think, teach, and support children every day.”
Intervention, Independence and Inclusion
These ideas run through everything we do. We believe children should have access to support that is thoughtful and effective, but also to the wider opportunities of community life, learning, relationships and independence.
- Support tailored to the child’s current needs
- Teaching that builds functional independence
- Respect for individuality and dignity
- A commitment to helping children access wider participation
Working Closely with Families
We know that children make the strongest progress when the adults around them work together. That is why we place real value on family partnership, parent guidance and shared understanding.
We provide support and training for parents because families also need the right tools, understanding and confidence to help their child move forward effectively.
20+ Years of Experience
Blooming Tree’s journey reflects more than two decades of specialist experience in early intervention and special education, with a continued focus on helping children and families access meaningful, lasting progress.
